Their Blood is Strong

An adaptation of John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath

Using found text, puppetry, song, and space, Their Blood is Strong is a site integrative exploration of the intercalary chapters of Steinbeck's novel.

The piece was created as part of an interdisciplinary senior capstone project titled "The land is so much more than its analysis": Home and Place in Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath for the Goodwin Niering Center for the Environment and the Theater Department at Connecticut College.
